This may seem like a pretty obvious resulting poll to some, but I figured it'd be fun anyways. Plus, people always like to see pictures of others favorite climbs so they can put it on their own 'to do' list.

oooh, and choss swimming. I saw someone try that. I'd never seen a kneecap before that. You know, with no skin on, in a pool of blood, with all the ligaments twitching and stuff.

Just wondering how Aid climbing is considered Trad climbing. I may be wrong, but I thought trad climbing was a style of free climbing. Someone please help me out here.

Traditional free climbing - you start at the bottom and climb to the top, without resorting to aid. This could include cracks, faces, removable protection, bolts, etc.
Since Higgins coined the term 'traditionalist' its his definition imo, that holds sway.
However, it is my opinion that aid climbing, particularly wall climbing, is trad as hell.

Thanks for the help. I do see the point that wall climbing is very traditional. I was just trying to bring up the point that I highly doubt that the OP knows anything at all about trad climbing. Thanks for the response though.

Cast a vote for varied. I like climbs that permit a wide variety of techniques.

I like face climbs where you only have protection is certain spots. As a beginner I catch myself stitching up a crack needlessly even though the climbing is well below my limit. face climbing forces you to "balls-up" cuz you only get so many placements.
