Ask sport climbers to spray all over it.

I either try not to disturb them(good for the ook factor) Or I get over it and after the first one I just ignore them and climb on. the worst days for me are when all the egg sacks hatch and the crack is filled with thousands of little tiny spiders SHUDDER josh

That’s funny Jay…but holds a bit of truth. Did relatively little trad this summer…almost all sport. Tis the season.

Get it out, clip it on, get on it. It's like riding a bike, you never forget.

*snicker* It would appear that Jay is bored! Ya know, this actually takes me back to my uber-gumby days. On my second climb ever, my partner said, "today you get to learn about cleaning gear." I was all confused. I had visuals of field-stripping the stuff like a rifle and getting out the Qtips and rubbing alcohol...

Jay- I think you're asking about cleaning the cobwebs that have accumulated on your gear from so long disuse. What you do is wait until the middle of the winter on a cold rainy miserable day when you haven't touched real rock for months and then you take it out and fondle it the way you would your {censored or use your imagination and think of something wholesome}... It torrential up here in SF! Where's that gear? Phyl

This isn't funny. And Robert, I am ashamed of you. No wonder I didn't see you at Tahquitz this summer!! Have fun in Josh this weekend Jay! TRADitionally yours Cali Dirtbag You know you are a TRAD climber when you wear through a set of BD cams to the holes in the lobes.
