I am one STOKED UP GODDESS this morning ... and no, its not jsut the new espresso machine (which made me mexican hot chocolate ths morning) I went down to Brewvies for a PowderWhores ski movie to benefit the Utah Avalanche Center..... drank a whole lotta beer.... bought $10 worth of raffle tickets.... I WON THESE SKIS: 165-cm, just my size, sweet carving and pow machines... bring it on, winter!!! .. and I never win stuff, so I must have an angel up in heaven looking out for me. And it aint Sty, because ... well, because. As far as I can tell, he is too busy down here haunting my house with tarantulas. I've now had 3 in my house and two other tarantula encounters. Rob, I am sooooooo envious, a project bike is so rewarding (and I really wish I had an uncle who gave me a bike) Mo. Happy b-day! Have a good one everybody. -F

Your a short one aren't you ;) Man I miss skiing, I haven't been in years. Hopefully I Get back someday soon. I wore 180-cm Those skis look pretty though. I know your comment was towards GG. However, I am not ashamed to say that I have an interesting mix-up in my ski quiver. 161 - Solomon Screams. For those days I want to fiddle-fart around and not worry about speed. They snap and twine as only a 200lb skier can make them, and are super-controllable in the air. 178 - Solomon somethingoranother. A ski that I have de-laminated three times, but still hold a wonderful edge. Actually, they aren't half-bad on a GS or slalom. 185 - The Megawatts. They have turned into a do-all ski, as I put them to the test this past winter. Everything from crappy eary season snow, late season crud, hardpack, bumps, off-piste, touring, big mountain, and racing they handled well. Suprisingly well, in fact, and I intend on this being my primary ski for everyting. 195 - Rock skis. Who doesn't have a 12 year old pair of beat up skis to have fun on in less than crappy conditions? 225 - Old Skool all the way. A pair of Lange skis. Yes, Lange was into skis before ski boots. These are my tried, true, and trusted Super-G and Downhill skis. Sure, there are more advanced skis on the market today, but for general dickery, tom-foolery, and high-speed mahem these are money. Plus they are amazing conversation starters on the lift - Wow, those skis are really long; Lange makes skis?; and my favorite: straight skis, do they even make those any more?

Ahhh, I actually thought that was you, didn't pay close enough attention to the thread. But that is a pretty sweet arsenal of skis, If I ever move to Colorado I will definitely be building up my "rack" of skis as well. :)

good morning all. I managed to make it to class today although it is very hard to justify driving 35 miles each way just for a one hour class. So I come early, eat lunch, and go to chemistry. Looking forward to an easy weekend, gonna mow the lawn, hopefully enjoy a leisurely bike ride. Bill, I remember rumney, so much fun. have fun for me. I think I will change it up a bit, and take a greek espresso to go please. Happy Birthday biner. Have a great weekend everyone.

Happy Friday peeps! Happy birthday MO! Good luck with all the cl**bing trips everyone - have fun and be safe. Geo those are some sweet skis! $10 got you that? Nice! Go buy a lotto ticket or something. ;) Hope everyone has a great weekend. I have very little planned except a s**t-ton of freelance work. I have 1,000 product descriptions to write in 3 weeks. Gotta get crackin'! Plus I have an e-course to write. When it rains it pours so I'm enjoying the overload of work - compared to the crickets I heard last month.
