Who is the youngest professional female rock climber? and where can some videos be found to help spark my 10 year old daughters interest?

Listen to her in Return2Sender She seems one of the few young climbers that don't have pushy parents.. ie Tori Allen..

I dont want to be one of those pushy parents but she has already shown some interest and I think if she sees that girl in the video it might light a fire and really motivate her. When I showed her the link she was amazed, as was I, at that young girls accomplishments. I think for girls it is good to see other girls involved in sports so they dont think it is just for guys.

leahcraneclimbing.com Good luck with the motivation, but my personal opinion is if they don't want to climb don't try to push them. If they do climb great. I have two sons, one climbs the other doesn't. They made their own choices, they asked me if they could come climbing with me when they were about 7 or 8. One liked it and has continued, the other didn't and hasn't. At 10 children are well old enough to make this kind of decision cookie

Interesting physiology but i've heard her parents pushed her like crazy.. then she quit when climbing wasn't put in the olympics. Cicada, Emily harrington, Lizzy Asher, Kate Reese, Natasha barnes, Alex Johnson, Angie Payne.. all hard climbing chicas http://www.momentumvm.com/...option=com_frontpage If you sign up with just an email you can go back and look at past videos.. bunch of girls climbing hard in there.
