Hey Folks,
I am taking the wife to Yosemite in a couple of weeks. I am a confident 5.7 leader, but she has never climbed before. Any suggestions on some fun 4th or super easy 5th class close to, or in the valley

I really want her to have fun (rope in) on some steep ground without being worried about her climbing ability.

Thanks

Regular Route on Sunnyside Bench. It's called 5.4 but I think it's only a few moves and the rest is 4th class.

This is the last day the cables will be up until May.

Do they remove the posts and the cables?

The cables stay, but the posts and 2x4 cross steps are removed for winter. Why?
1) it's decidedly unsafe (for the vast majority of people) when the route and summit are snow and ice covered
2) avalanches would mangle and destroy the posts and cross bars
