Question.. I have a photo that was taken tilted. I submitted it tilted back to true angle cropped to a circle with white fringes because of the contents needed to have a border around the sides to catch all of the details in the photo. If I didn't add some sort of buffer zone, a square crop would cut off details. The photo wasn't accepted. It was requested that I remove the white background that I added. What color background can I use to submit this photo? You can see the original lamar.colostate.edu/~jesjames/images/jermupside1.jpg Oval with white background or square with brown ... lamar.colostate.edu/~jesjames/images/tilt.jerm.vd.ow1.jpg lamar.colostate.edu/~jesjames/images/tilted.jpg Cropped missing detail photo examples lamar.colostate.edu/~jesjames/images/cropped.jpg I have two photos I'd like to submit which are like this. They were taken by non climbing friends who think tilted photos are fun - it annoys me because I like to have realistic interpretations of the climbing. Thanks - Jesse

I have seen pthe pics, but another Editor left the instructions. I would suggest that if you want to use "as is w/ oval" then resize to same size as square to remove any excess white, then edit in that pic. (Just re-browse and submit while editing the one currently awaiting apporoval. When you refresh your browser, the pic will change to the new one.) Then send a PM to the Editor who left the instructions, and they should approve. ~Adam

I am that evil editor OK so I worked on the pic a bit, this is what I came up with: http://members.aol.com/roughit3/fix.jpg As long as Jesse gives the ok I will upload and approve the fix pic as well as fix the other crop job photo. Aaron
