Try to get in touch with Petra Rock Gym in Springfield MO, they come down to Arkansas a lot and have a bunch of strong climbers. Also try and get in touch with a guy named Cole Fennel. He is writing a new guidebook for the area, is a nice guy too who is always looking for new partners "his words not mine."

im in arkansas, you didnt really say where you are in the state? you might look into horseshoe canyon, its near central arkansas and is pretty badass. if ur up northwest, theres lincoln lake near fayetteville. theres ozark bouldering gym in springdale arkansas and everyone there is super cool. there is a decent bouldering spot (from what ive heard) in springdale as well. maybe this will help you out a bit?
