Folks who freak out when they encounter a "wrinkle" in their well-laid plans. This includes a bolt spacing that's "too far" (on a 5.6?) This includes folks who get pissed when it starts to rain, or who'll lecture you on "leave no trace" as you build a fire on a LOG DECK. And egos. If you have one, we can't be friends. I hang out with the Ids. Unfortunately, every time I visit some place like smith, all I see is people waving their......egos...at each other. You don't win if yours is bigger. That being said, I guess that nothing about climbing annoys me. It's a rare pleasure.

1. Brushing fields of lichen from new routes. 2. Digging a millenium of dirt from cracks. 3. Trundling loose blocks onto my pack. 4. Removing burnt, dead brush from ledges. 5. Bosch batteries that don't last worth @&#%! 6. Humping gear to the base of the crag. But what really burns my butt is the lack of time to do the above on a weekly basis. Bottom line -- get over it. It's climbing. It's a fun form of recreation for those of us fortunate enough to be part of it. Enjoy every precious moment we have on the rock -- there are much, much worse things that we could be doing.

1) someone who's late.. 2) someone who socializes way more than climbing 3) Short roping the shit out of me (don't mind so much when trad climbing, as i tend to be in less desperate clipping positions.) 4)Idiots throwing objects off the top of cliffs.. 5)people that take all day on a route That's about it.

What annoys me are people who ruin good walls by grid-bolting them. I've placed some routes fairly close to others but not to the point where the climber can reach over and clip a bolt on another route or gets confused as to which way to go.

I'm pretty sure that I'm the most annoying thing regarding climbing. If you come within a mile of me and still don't want to quit, you probably weren't paying attention.
