I'm looking for partners for any climbing on 12/16-21 (Tu-Sun) at Red Rock or maybe down to J-Tree. I'm game for single-pitch, multi-pitch, trad, sport, whatever. Would like to get in a couple of days on some easy multi-pitch, though.
I'm currently leading 5.8 trad and a little harder sport, but if you climb harder I'm happy to belay. Let me know if you're going to be around and need a partner or if you don't mind an extra in your group.

This is my reply to your thread. I replied to your reply to my thread. All's well, cept the weather, looks like it might rain for a fair chunk of next week. Up for Jtree or St. George or what have you...anything to escape waiting out the rain.

hey Kelly and Ben
I'll be in LA from Sunday on so if the weather is good in Jtree, I could meet you there. I have a climbing partner lined up from Dec 21 for about 10 days and another until Jan 5
Ben, if you do go to Jtree next week and want to stay around, you can possibly join me and the climbing partner I have lined up from Dec 21 on. Call me with your plans.
Kelly, Ben and I were talking about climbing in Jtree and RR and if you stay past the 21st in Jtree, both of you could join me and my other partner.

Sounds good, depends on the weather I guess. And how quickly my tips heal, though I am sure you could concoct an invention made out of a bandanna, three paper clips, and a chicken wishbone to protect them.
Will call early next week.
By the way, looked up my name. Seems it means BOTH son of the south and son of the right hand, so we both win! I love happy endings.

I too am looking for a partner for that week, also watching the weather. I'm open for RR or St. George, or even J Tree. I havent' been up to George yet. I would prefer a place with camping though to save on costs.

Weather here is looking crappy until the weekend. then just a little cold. Don't know about the canyons, but the low-lying areas should be snow-free and climbable again. I'm still looking for partners and will be around until Dec 24.
