39 yrs old, climbing 7 years. I've pretty much only bouldered the last few years and managed to jump several grades just this year (V8/9). I'm pretty confident that I'll be climbing harder than that next season. I'd say my best days - at least in terms of difficulty - look to be ahead.

Ben Moon has always been climbing at his limit, and just recently climbed the sit start to his hardest problem, making it a V14 (Voyager). So he just climbed his first V14, after pushing his limits his whole life, at age 40!
Best years are yet to come.

65 years old, and 44 years of climbing--rock, ice , alpine, sport--it's all good-- replaced hip, rebuilt knee-- if you stop moving you rust--

Climb to ski, ski to live, live to climb!

I'm not old!

26, 8 years climbing. Not including time spent as a little kid, only when I got serious about it.

Rock climbed for the first time as a senior in high school -- in 1967. Still at it. You do the math.

You've been climbing for a while.

About 41 years.

But injuries also tend to be more common as we get older. Biceps tear last night at the gym. I am not pleased.

Thanks. Moderate (grade II) strain of the right biceps (and, yep, I'm right handed). Basically, I have a partial tear in the belly of the muscle. A few more weeks and then maybe back to some easy climbing.
