This area is not worth going to in my opinion unless you live nearby or are in the area. There's a handful of bolted routes, most are around 30 ft tall. The best looking stuff is probably the boulder routes. All bolted routes are in the shade so it might make a nice summer destination.

Climbed at the area although the routes are not that high they range from 5.7 to 5.9+ some of the routes are pumpy.

I'm going to be at Wisp Resort this weekend and my bf and I are looking to climb outside for the first time, top roping. We've been climbing inside for a bit now. How can I find out information about the individual climbs at fork run? Also, any information on how to start out top roping for the first time?

There's some beta for Fork Run here:
http://www.indy-adventures.net/...g/guide.html#ForkRun

You can probably get more information (& more importantly, perhaps- instruction) here:

Good luck!

My fiancé and I were in Deep Creek for a weekend vacation and checked out the climbing. It's probably not exciting/interesting for seasoned outdoor climbers. But for outdoor noobs, who've spent all their time indoor so far, like me, it's a good starting point. A nice, but low, range of difficulty. Plenty of bolts up top to top rope from, and a decent number to sport climb.
