Anyone climb in Allegany or Garrett Co? I know there's a ton of rock. I've just never heard any mention or seen any info anywhere.

lots of stuff. private land hassles though in many places. there is so much hassle free stuff in stateparks, N. forest it is hard to go other places. the motivated scouter finds rock in these here parts...

Hey, I'm from Washington County, Plenty of Rocks around...look on the AT (Appalachian Trail) near a place called Gap Land Park. There is a bouldering ridge that runs a good 4 mile stretch heading to Harpers Ferry. Any V Technique u can find is there.

Point me to it... My wife and I are working in Calvert County, MD till mid May of next year. All I have climbed so far are Great Falls (not so great), and EarthTreks (good for a gym) in MD.

it is a little far for you 3 hours or so, but you should go to coopers while in the east. it is worth a trip for bouldering, hard to really get around without a guide who knows the forest. i climb there often and could possible meet with you and climb depending on the time...
