I'm in Vegas as of December 3, until mid January or longer.
Very flexible schedule--it's likely I am free when you want to climb. 2 yrs climbing experience, safe climber, lead sport to 5.9, trad to 5.7, follow to mid 5.10 (ish), got rope, rack, car, etc. I'm up for any type of climb, any time. Drop me a line!

My climbing partner is busy on the 13th. I'm looking to do a 5.7 or 5.8 trad multipitch. Johnny Vegas, Olive Oil, Tunnel Vision, etc. Any interest?

Ben,
I'm an on again/off again vegas resident. Next week I'll be there Tu-Sun (12/16-21) and looking for partners all days. I'm happiest on moderate multi-pitch, but will take what I can get. Currently leading 5.8 trad, a little harder sport, and have been climbing and leading for about 10 years all over the southwest. Yo Ben, I will be in Vegas for x-mass to visit my folks. Never climbed at Red Rocks and really want to get in some pitches. I could climb anytime between the 22nd and 24th. My wife is coming with me but isn't into climbing and would be stoked to not have to bug her for a belay.

Ok... this is good and it makes my decision. I am coming to Vegas over X-mass, and a very full rack, rope and wanting to climb out there. I have spoke with Ben and looks like there will be more too, so count me in.

Hey Ben
I tried Jtree yesterday but it was too cold so I am back in Vegas. Do you want to climb today (Monday) and the rest of the week?
Is the canyon still snowed in or can we walk to the climbs?

Hey,
I'm still in JTree--three straight days of climbing. There was snow but it's mostly melted. Anything in the sun is totally perfect. Yesterday was windy but today I was climbing in a TShirt. I'll be here for a few more days for sure. I heard it was raining in Red Rocks today so I am in no hurry to go back. If You come by JTree, I'm in Hidden Valley Campground, in a gray saab with new york plates, probably in camp #1 but I may move. No cell or internet in the park, though.

it rained a bit yesterday at red rocks, but south-facing rock at calico today was fine.

Driving from San Diego to Red Rock on Tuesday. Looking for a partner for Tuesday (12/30) afternoon and Wednesday (12/31).
I'm returning on Sunday and will have room for one if someone wants to carpool.
