Hey all New to this forum and looking to get up some ice this weekend (pretty much every weekend :)) and I'd love to find some cool and experienced climber(s) to head up with. I'm pretty new to ice, but i can climb WI4 solid and I want to work up to some harder mixed routes to be ready for the really sick apline climbs eventually. Hoping to find someone who's not scared of getting up early, long approaches and has a patience enough to teach a thing or two. I'm learning how to lead and get a bit nervous. Not sure which days I'll climb yet...(planning to snowboard one of the 3) but I'd be down ot tag along with a team/group if that's cool. Just really want to climb!

Hey all, I'll be visiting from AK and am looking for climbing partners Feb. 8th, 9th, and 10th. I am hoping to climb in places I could day trip from Dillon. I will have gear and car. Lead WI 5, Moderate Mixed. WFR cert. I usually get 50+ days of ice climbing a season in, mostly in AK, some in New England. Never climbed in CO.

I'm looking for someone to teach me to ice climb. In exchange, I can teach you canyoneering or avalanche science. About me: I'm not a total gumby, just don't have any ice skills. I'm an avalanche forecaster, mountain rescuer and slot canyon guide. I'm in excellent shape, have a vehicle, am an EMT, and live in Breckenridge, Colorado. I have a rock climbing background (walls in Zion and Yosemite), and am well versed in partner rescue. I'm sure I'd take to ice quickly and would hope to be leading right away. So are there any alpinists out there looking to take on a protege?

I am an intermediate climber as well. I have tools and crampons. I just need to get boots, which I am going to order in the coming weeks. I live the springs and can climb on Fridays and Sundays.
