I see a bunch of pictures from i guess the early 90's with climbers climbing in some gnarly tights. I know someone somewhere has gotta still be selling them. I know some of you other guys are wondering where to get a pair too. Don't deny it
Where do I find a pair of these badass tights?

Dude, I randomly clicked on this post to read it, ha ha. I have some newer, better tights that my girlfriend bought me for x-mas. They had "stirups" that slide under your heel but that made the crotch sag a bit too much for FULL range of motion. Had to cut them off. They are way better than these. Oh ya, check ebay. She had them shipped from Brazil I believe.

i would so be in - my current kit doesn't show off my package quite enough. i mean, what's the point of wearing a harness if it doesn't make your crotch the centre of attention?

Yeah, the tights scared away all the hikers and other nature enthusiasts, so they had to cut them out to save the crags.

You've overlooked the fact that the entire decade of the 80's was as gay as it comes. Therefore, the tights were always gay, but seemed rad in context.
Even in the 80's, I'd roll around on the ground laughing when a group of lycra-clad cyclists would pedal by..............
Although, I'll offer up that I bought into the 80's belief that "neon colors" were cool. And I thought that "Jams" were cooler than my regular shorts.
They were as gay as the 80's too.
