yeah i found what i was looking for so now that i have the answer i have a question. has anyone used cordage on a hook rather than webbing? is this a bad idea? i have a bunch of 5 mil laying around that i was thinking of using

I use some cordage on a few hooks. I can't think of why it would be a problem, except that you'll need to make sure that you've got a solid knot in it.
