I have tried uploading pictures and so far none have worked because all of my climbing photos just so happen to be over 1mb (most only .3 too big). I don't get how I am supposed to upload photos with this kind of limit. does this always happen? is it a site policy? some body give me some feedback please on this, I have a lot of photos that would contribute greatly to routes that do not have photos right now. I want to enrich this site! someone throw me a bone! thanks everyone, happy climbing

Hi, yeah, I'm sorry, but a meg is the limit. We have so many photos and so many more coming, we just can't spare much more space for them. The thing is, the way they'll display on here will be with far less resolution than anything bigger than a meg, anyway, so it's really a moot point. Re-size those bad boys and then submit -- please!

Yeah, you should still get a good resolution photo by re-sizing them down to 100-200 KB.
