I pulled out my first attempt at a ledge and put it together to take some pics. I did this before I had a sewing machine so I bought a cot from sportsmans and ratchet straps from the hardware store and slapped this together. I made it for an attempt on the regular route on half dome just in case. My partner couldn’t even do the hike up to the glacier point apron to do The Grack two days before.

Pain in the but to put together, it took me 20min sitting in my livingroom.

The guy I was with was the same one I spent 17 1/2 hours on Royal Arches. I wasn't sleeping in my harness if he couldn't move fast enough. Notice it's a singleWink.

In that case it's and excellent item to bring.
