What image types will the website read? I am limited to what I can save company logos as and a Jpeg isn't an option. What do I do?

I think because photoshop reads it as a drawing... not allowing for the conversion. It isn't one of my options...

If its a .gif you should be able to host that also. You should also be able to save a .pdf into .jpg from photoshop.

You could always do it the evil way, that is, use the print-screen key (assuming the drawing is smaller than the visible area) and paste into MS-Paint and save as jpg.

I'm assuming it's an EPS file originally. If you are using Photoshop (Elements or the full version) you _can_ save it as jpeg, but depending on the logo, gif might be a better option. Do you mean for this website? If so, you can send it to me if you need a hand.

Photoshop-solution... The reason you probably cant save it as jpeg in PS, is because youre using layers. Go to the layers-menu, and choose "Flatten image". Now you should be able to save it in jpeg.

boesgaard Problem solved! Now that you said I was using layers I immediately remembered one of my professors saying something about layers and jpegs. Good call, it works now. Andy

you also can always go to to "save as" and save it as whatever you want(gif, ai, jpeg, bmp, etc etc). If saving for the web, try "Save for web". No need to trash your layered Pshop file. Jer

Quote: you also can always go to to "save as" and save it as whatever you want(gif, ai, jpeg, bmp, etc etc). That is what I originally tried to do, and it didn't have jpeg as an option. Probably because of the layers...?
