Dude. Thats the Golden Ascender. Its worth.. a few hundred at least. Only a small quantity was produced to mimick something from Willy Wonka.

http://storrick.cnchost.com/VerticalDevicesPage/Ascender/HECPages/HEC165.html They appear to be an ok "off-brand". I personally prefer the post on the gate closer, rather than the petzl type plastic finger-pull. For caving single-rope-work the plastic triggers can get very slick and difficult to operate. Having said that, it's going to sell for 50-75% of what the comparable Petzl unit will sell for, just for being an unknown brand. Check ebray and see how they're moving there. Locking biner is worth a couple of bucks.

Both are by the spanish brand "lucky". Now the lucky brand has been bought/ fusioned with edelrid and is now sold as edelrid since it seems that lucky is/ was not very well known. They have a few nice ideas with their new stuff, but the old stuff is rather cheap. They had a few recalls, but generally they are to be considered a safe and legitimate brand. How much it is worth? dont know, but probably not much, given that the stuff isnt too expensive to begin with and almost nobody knows the brand. qwert

$40 for the ascender and $5-7 for the carabiner. The Lucky cam is the old Petzl design. They work fine. Normally, climbers use 2 of these, often they are color coded. Here's what the new improved Petzl ascender looks like. you can google Petzl Ascenders to get a comp of what a more popular and well known product sells for.

He's right, the price will go up quickly, driven by competition, and an American desire for high quality italian gear.
