I'll be staying in the twin city area for a couple months and i'm looking for some climbing around here. Where are the (or should I say Are there any?) good spots for bouldering, sport or trad. I see there are some places listed, but I'd like to see what the community has to say.

Thanks,
Tim

We have a few nearby spots.

Barn Bluff, Redwing: Limestone sport climbing of all levels about an hour south of the cities.

Taylors Falls: Basalt, lots of bouldering and good trad...

If you're up for a challenge, there's a relatively unknown little crag in Hudson, WI called Willow River. It's super steep sport climbing on limestone. Definitely recommended, but most climbs are in the 5.11-5.13 range. It's a half-hour drive from the cities.

The REI in Minneapolis has a decent indoor wall. LaughBlush
I did a couple of laps on it last fall when I visited my brother there.
