There's a hole in the leather of left shoe of my 5.10 Anasazis. It is just under an inch long and large enough for my big toe to stick out. Can a hole like this be repaired?

yes if you do it yourself it will probably not work or look like shit. If you let a profesional do it it might be to expensive. but it should be possible qwert

this could work. how much toe is sticking out? it may be cheaper to amputate, which will also prevent this happening again in the future. steve

Generally, if you have a hole through the leather, re-solers don't want your business.

Resolers who aren't also cobblers likely aren't equipped to do that repair. But there is that one guy in New Rochellehttp://www.cobcord.com/ He's who might be able to do it. At least he could tell you yes or no.

curt wrote: Have you lost a lot of weight? Curt I doubt it. I don't really track my weight but I would guess I gained some weight over Winter. I don't know why that would be pertinent though. Thanks for the responses. I know of a leathersmith in Madison who can look at the shoes but salvage is unlikely.
