We're going to up to Devil's Lake to climb for the first time and we purchased Climber's Guide to Devil's Lake by Sven Olof Swartling but we're having trouble finding routes that are not only trad, but also lengthy (possibly multipitch?). If you know of walls with a lot of options, so we don't have to travel as much, that would be awesome too. Thanks!

I climbed there once in the 90s. I dont remember seeing a single bolt. I was guiding a group of college students and we set up only topropes on natural protection or we set up anchors. I also dont remeber seeing any climbs over one pitch, most even shorter than that. The rock is slick and smooth! Why did you decide to go there?

You were right on. We only climbed 3 routes out of the 1600 or something like that in the book. Nearly all the routes were underrated and were, like you said, extremely slick. We went because it seemed like it was the best around here... but I think I'd rather travel somewhere else next time.
