Has anyone used them yet? How do they compare to BD/Fish? It'll be my first portaledge and it's hard to make a $700+ decision with so little reviews out there from reputable sources. Take care, Nate

having just spent another two nights in my metolius double, I'm still a satisfied customer. really easy setup/teardown for one person (I was soloing) and pretty light for a ledge. Apparently they don't flag very well, but they're up and down so easily that it's not a major issue IMHO. Kate (holdplease2) made some useful comparisons a while back, you might want to look for them. She's spent waaay more nights in a ledge than me, and has tried several. I got a really good deal on the metolius, which was the deciding factor for me :)

I've spent about 50 nights on a double Bomb Shelter, and it is sweet. The BD has some nice amenities (e.g. cup holders?!), but I don't like the rain fly as much. (Perhaps my opinion would change if I'd spent more time getting used to the BD rain fly). If you're going to get rained on, then I think the Metolius is a better option. Not that you could go wrong with a BD ledge. I've only been on a single FISH Econo-ledge once, and it was pretty old. It was easy to set up and it worked, but I didn't love it. If you're on a budget, however, it's not a bad option.
