I just moved from Charlotte, NC to Columbus and am looking for people to climb with. Either at the gym, outdoors, and definitely up for some trips to The Red and The New. I climb at a solid 5.10 and boulder around a V4. I'd like to do more sport. I do not do trad. I am flexible and can climb during the day, evenings and/or weekends. Hit me up. Andrew

hey Andrew, My wife and I get down to the Red and the New fairly often, but don't really climb a lot of 5.10s. However, we sometimes are looking for people to split gas with on the drive down. Are you going to OSU? You can definitely find a lot of partners at the climbing wall there.

Hi Paul, Thanks for your quick reply. I do not go to OSU but have met some students at Vertical Adventures. Looks like you have lots of great experience. I'd love to learn, if you're ever willing to teach. I've never been to The New and have been to The Red once. Both seem pretty big. I usually cannot get away for than 2-3 days at a time, if that works for you. If so, how can you get on your trad routes and me find easier sport routes without wasting time driving all over?? Will do Ben. What days typically work for you? I'm primarily sport but am just getting into it. What level do you climb at? Andrew

Hi Alisa, Thanks for your mail. Mike mentioned this to me before I believe. I'd love to go but will be in Charlotte for a bachelor party. Keep me in mind for your next trip. I'll be heading to The Red the end of June but would like to try and hit it before then. Let me know if you two are free. Andrew

That may work. I've been resting my finger (partial pulley tear) and hope to be good to go by then. When are you planning on leaving and returning? Last time I camped at Lago Linda's which is much less crowded than Miguels. Also, what areas do you want to hit? I'm still learning how to lead and should be ok with those under 5.10B ish... Andrew

No prob, I'm thinking about the second weekend of June also. Yea i'll let you know when I get to the gym. When its nice i go to a local place outside after work to boulder around for a couple hours and its free. I've done about 6-7 problems there and its in town. A good place to do laps and listen to the waterfall, let me know if you want to check it out sometime. Later Jeromy

Outside bouldering sounds good. Let me know what day works for you. I can't go to the Red the weekend of 6/6 nor 6/13, but I might be able to get away this weekend. A

Jeromy, My bad, I cannot make it this weekend. My girlfriend "politely" reminded me we need to go see her brother's show on Saturday night. It looks like I'm booked the next several weekends. But let me know when you want to boulder outside or hit VA. Sorry for the confusion. A

Hey everyone. My name is Ryan and I live in Dublin Ohio. I am looking for some people to climb with on the weekends and on Mondays if anyone has the time. I have been climbing about 6 months at Lifetime and can lead 5.9's and some 10's. I am relativity new and really eager to improve. Please let me know of any future trips. If there are any Lifetime of Dublin members reading this we should try and meet up some time. |

Any Ohio folks heading to the Red this weekend? My usual partner bailed. I up for trad or sport, and I have a rack.

I can't make it to The Red this weekend but I am free during the week (almost every week) if someone wants to go for a night or two. Will split gas. I do mainly sport in the 5.9-5.10 range.....
