Ok, I tried the partener specific forum and the traffic was null. I need 1 more guy or gal to make 2 parties of 2 this weekend. We meet up in little Yos manana then catch some Z's and hit the approach at 5 am or earlier on Sunday Must be able to swap leads and deal with the "R" factor. All you need is a harness and belay device. I've done the route before so no Epic's. The three of us are very experienced Sierra Neva and Rocky Mtn. climbers. Message me ASAP!

Man, I wish, but I've got a whole continent in the way. I guess I'll be stuck at Crowder's Mtn again.

I'm ready to try Ship Rock Or Table Rock, if I can find someone to go with. I have to beg people to go climbing at Crowder's and it is close by, so I know none of them will be willing to go anywhere else. I sometimes wonder if I have BO or something.

All of my local climbing buddies have given up for the summer.

Chances are if someone is looking for some partners this weekend in the area, they'll be looking in the west coast section. My guess is that most likely people were not interested in your attitude. I'm sure you're fine in real life.... but you come across as a bit high strung here. Why not just climb in a group of three and do tandem follows? Snake Dike isn't that tough of a climb.

I just looking out for a buddy. I'm not climbing with 3 this weekend. I know the climb isn't tough...I just don't want to let a bro down. Sorry for the "attitude". I'm out.

wait, you're starting in little yos at 5am? you must want to get to the cafeteria in time for brunch---- ---just go as a team of 3 already and enjoy it. you'll be back in town by afternoon ----unless you get behind that big group of florida boy scout counselors that are attempting their big 'summit or bust' leukemia benefit climb this weekend [better start at 3am come to think of it]

If you were so concerned about your buddy, you'd make it a party of 3.... I would at least.

Ok, PARTY OF TWO IT IS! If you don't want to climb Snake Dike this weekend then don't post a reply. I am looking for somebody who wants to hike 14 miles, camp over night, climb 800 ft of class 5 moderate slab. and top out with 1000 ft of 3rd class That is it...nothing more. It will get you armchair climbers off your ass and on to some rock (I'm refering to the jokers who keep chaning the subject). Well, and drink some cold beer (i'm buying) at the end of it all and maybe climb around at church bowl or boulder around in the heat. DOWN TO THE WIRE NOW.

Would your buddy be interested in climbing something other than snake hike on that side of the dome? I might be down for that. Do you guys/gals have ample supplies of beer in Little Yos??? I may be persuaded to take the hike if that were the case. What say you?

Thanks for the offer, we just did a party of two up Snake Dike yesterday. But next time, when I forget how long the hike is, I may interested in doing Blond Ike. BTW. I scored a new #1 BD camelot on the first pitch and found a red BD stopper just laying on the rock on the last pitch! I love booty!!!
