To the ass who just bolted two routes , It is private property and I just got permission to climb , the owner requested that I chop the bolts . If you put them up take them down , or get them chopped .
Sorry nice placements though.

Or he wants to preserve the land, cares about the environment, or just plain doesn't want his rock bolted. He's allowed, if he allows climbing of any kind that should be taken with much thanks.

For all we know he could be some traddy that just doesn't like bolts...

Wow, bolts there? There were a couple of us that used to boulder there back in the 70's and early 80s - but bolts?

Same thing is happening at Kennedy Mills ..stuff thats been bouldered all of a sudden is sprouting bolts and its private property as well.

Are you talking about the rockfield at Rae, PA? I spent a lot of time there scraping off moss back in the eighties. Had about ten topropes, and three or four trad leads, and I know I wasn't the first person to climb there. The boulder traverse along the base of the biggest block was the best thing there, took a lot of effort to clean and put together, maybe 12a or b, probably around V5 today.

So you have permission to climb there, good for you, please do what you have to in order to preserve it.
