You're gonna have to be more clear on that one. Typically webbing is flat, not sure what "circular webbing" is. If you're talking about making a climbing rope, then making one is to say the least a bad idea. The standard ropes are "dynamic" and strech when fallen or weighted reducing the amount of force applied to not only the climber, but equally importantly the gear the rope is passed through. Webbing is static and doesn't stretch. Don't know if this answered your question or not...

You could stuff it with smaller tubular webbing. Or stuff it with a smaller accessory cord.

Stuff it with $ and go to the climbing store. I'm sure that they can help convert it into a proper rope by removing the stuffing and throwing away the now discardable sheath.

or how anout beef/pork/etc... to make sausages?

really, was there a point to the question or is it a joke?

No!

I think you mean Tubular webbing, and using insted of making.

Hell No!

Webbing isn't dynamic (as said above) and isn't as strong as a rope.

It also wont work with any belay device (aside from the munter hitch and hip belay)

Using anything in place of a climbing rope is a bad idea.

If you're going to stuff webbing with Jelly Bellies then it'll cost you about as much as new rope would... so that would just be silly. Besides, why waste the Jelly Bellies?

Sounds like a topic covered in "Accidents in North American Mountaineering".

webbing is tubular to make it stronger; it has twice the area so its twice as strong as a regular same sized flat piece of webbing. Being flat, it will not be cut as easly as a rope cause theres more surface area so its good for static anchors and whatnot.

if ur gonna stuff it to make it a rope, call me so i can video tape u hitting the deck after your first fall on it. muhuhaha

Beer! Just stand with your mouth under the tubing, then have a friend pour the beer in the other end. There are many other psychoactive substances that would make even better ropes - just use some imagination.

After you stuff it with whatever material you find applicable, I hear you can use a Tibloc to self-belay with your new "rope."

Though the current incarnation of the "Tibloc self-belay system" calls for 2-Tibs you can probably get by with just one since the "rope" you make will fail long before you need that second Tib.

Seriously though, this is a bad idea all around!

Edit - Spelling.
