Do we know when the clinics will be open for registration? I can't find the info on the website.
So, has anyone made any plans yet?
Two things are for sure:
1. We need a hot tub!
2. You three boys need a different hot tub!
I'm thinking She-Ra for my costume.

I believe the theme is superheros... thus my She-Ra choice... but you could be a villain and be The Penguin.
Of course you can come to whatever hot tub I claim as mine. I'm an equal opportunity hot tuber!
I emailed Erin from the Ice Park and the clinics will be available Friday November 6th, 2009 at 9am MST.

Minus unforeseeable circumstances in early January (war, plague, death, full-time employment in my career of choice, bodily dismemberment - though is wouldn't necessarily preclude my involvement) I'm counting on being there.

that sounds tamer than my initiation. I woke up half in a snow bank, half in a hot tub, missing one limb and gained an extra that belonged to someone else.
*ok, not exactly, but that's what COULD have happened!

Hey hey, climbers... so I'm new to this whole scene, just moved to colorado, love ice climbing, and making plans to check out the ice fest this year. Just wondering if anyone can tell me: is it easy to demo/borrow/rent gear from outfitters for clinics, or should my friends and i try to get our hands on gear beforehand??

It's very easy to demo gear during the fest! I didn't bring a thing ice related my first year and between the awesome RC.com crew and the demos I was set up for the best trip ever. The only thing that topped it was the following year!
