Edgelounger- I know Tom C and while I appreciate the suggestion, I have placed several hundred bolts in my life, glue-ins and other, so I don't think I need much in the way of advice or materials from Tom.

(And the stone at Franklin is too hard to require glue-ins... which are too expensive and demanding to place to use anywhere they are not absolutely necessary)

Fanklin, for those who do not know, is a lovely little sport area located on several parcels of private land, just outside Franklin, WVA. Access is delicate and development limited. It was recently (and inaccurately) expose'd in Mr. Horst's efforts at a Maryland/WVA/VA climbing guide. Horst/Falcon used bogus data from online, a scanned copy of a topo put out by a bunch of losers who had nothing to do with establishing the crag or maintaining it.

Accurate topos of Franklin, with ratings, bolt counts, and FA information, are available from the Punishers, the first ascentionists and developers of Franklin gorge, by emailing me- ronin_mz@yahoo.com.

Yeah, that's the place... and as usual, they got it wrong. There is NO CAMPING at the Franklin Crag.

Hey, climbinganne, would love to catch up with ya in march... drop an email.
