Looks like you might be able to work something out with them if they don't have a bus that goes there already. I don't know that area at all or else I'd help ya out more.

The bouldering areas are all somewhat spread out. It would be hard to camp and hike to the bouldering areas. Hitchhiking is a possibility.

Be advised that Tioga Pass is closed for winter. I believe this means essentially going to Tahoe and dropping down to get there from SF.

Seems like 5 out of 6 people I've talked to recently climbing in the sierras are from the bay area. Hook up with someone going, offering to pitch in for gas...
