What's the dumbest thing that ever stopped you climbing?
I got bit on a finger by a hamster, of all things, and the finger swelled up and stopped me heading out climbing yesterday.
Maybe this should read 'embarassing' instead of 'dumb'.

This one isn't stupid but very strange: on a VERY sunny day, i decided to go climbing. Traveled A LOT at full speed to get there and when i got off the car, still sunny, started raining out of nowhere. sun+rain most of the times equals rainbows. At least the view was great. But clouds appeared very very fast.

once i got stung by a bee and my finger was swollen the size of a mellon. not really a melon...but it was huge/ it made my whole hand throb for a whole day.

I tweaked my big toe doing a big bong rip. I stood up too quick, got a head rush, spun around, and my toe got caught in the deep shag carpet and twisted. I couldn't climb for a month.

an old girlfriend coming up the next day, who refuses to climb with you just because you're better than her, because she doesn't want to compete with you. THEN the next day she ends up not coming at all. oh the irnoy. (there's more to that story, but a tad personal :-P)
