hahaha - fondant shoes - the perfect design for a climber's wedding cake! Actually, a few years ago, climbing shoes somehow became an inspirational look for fashion shoes. Designers worked off the rand as an overlay detailing, and color blocking on a close-fitting silhouette. But these...these look like the design director tossed a pair of rock shoes at their assistant and said "Be inspired!" and the assistant, who either hated their boss or hated to be told what to do(that would have been me when i was a designer) couldn't be bothered with thinking too far down the road..... Those shoes look like they couldn't even stick a foothold in Loehmann's Clearance section!

Heh, I might have to consider the shoes as a topper ... should I ever get on the route. Oh, gawd that was punny. I'm jacked up on coffee and sugar right now ... sorry.

Someone on here should get a pair, and report back on how they work. Extra kudos to tearing them up badly on rock and returning them for a refund or replacement to the manufacturer. :-)
