Please reminder that you are suppose to go shoot specifically for this assignment, not just use images that exist in your files already. The idea behind the assignments is to create new photos and develop a certain skill. Assignment and instructions posted on my blog. Post you pictures here or post a link to the image. http://tiny.cc/1W49y Eman

Cool assignment. Thanks for posting. Is there any time frame for this assignment? It will be a little hard to get a great outdoor shot until it warms up a little. I guess there probably will be some great ice climbing shots though.

Nice shot. Very bright with the ice, and a strong silouette. Fun, at first it looked like a swimmer.

Nice, I really like putting people in landscapes and making them look small, because we are small compared to the rest of the land. I really like the balance of the persons shadow compared to the shadow of the ridge on the left. There are also a lot of triangles when looking at your image from left to right with the silhouettes and the center with the sky.

Here is one from The Motherload, in the Red River Gorge, Kentucky. The day was winding down, but there was still plenty of light, I just metered for high light details in the sky to create the silhouette. Matt
