Some really good stuff in that list, thanks for the discoveries.
Personally, I listen to music all day long (literally), but the one big exception is when I'm outdoor, either climbing or hiking. Cliche or not, the sounds of nature are my favourite kind of music.

Nice. Yeah, I saw the Beat Farmers at the Fremont Regge and Blues lounge in Vegas in '95. Country Dick had his own "Heineken Boy". All the guy did was stand at the ready to hand CD another beer when his ran empty. Country Dick was sooo smashed that half way through the third song he laid down on his back, put his beer between his feet and the proceed to douche himself with the beer. Crazy fun show.

You read that wrong. New as in different. As to your second sentence, if people didn't "get caught up in the new stuff" Joplin would currently be alive and managing a dairy queen in Texas.
