Aid gradeing system question.

I am familiar with the "A" and "C" designations in the grading system but what does it mean when the grade has an "F" at the end? For example, Leaning Tower C2F 5.7.

A little more in depth answer...

The rating depends on the fixed gear. So the route could be harder if something is missing, i.e. a copper head or a fixed pin or a rivet.
