Hey guys, so winter is one of my favorite times of year and although it hasn't really felt like winter it is still fun sliding around on ice and snow and seeing your breath before your eyes. I'd like to see some more photos of your favorite winter sport. Shoot something new and different and think about what you love. If you live on the East Coast, why not XC ski downtown if they can't plow? Snowshoe to work? There is hardly any snow in Juneau and I'm jealous so lets see it! I'll be uploading some photographs soon of my favorite winter sport soon. So good luck and have fun!

From a great trip to the Torridon group in Scotland many a year back. I love 'em and feel like they totally capture Scottish climbing...Of course the clouds were always the thickest during the technical climbing, so no real pictures of that. So it goes. Hehe, forgot the "best" one...this was the next day. Just a little damper and ya start growing icicles. I could hear 'em chiming next to my ear. I lost that Cloudveil shortly after that trip. i still mourn the loss- that was an AMAZING top.

Took this one last night. I really like winter here because during the summer its near impossible to get a decent night photograph because the sun is always bright. http://checote.blogspot.com/
