I'm travelling all over asia this year and next on a huge climbing trip. Thailand (May), Taiwan (June - July), Japan (July - Sept), Sth Korea (Sept - Oct), China (Oct - Dec), Vietnam (Jan), Cambodia (Feb), Laos (Feb), Thailand (March), Malaysia (April), India or Singapore (May). If you have any advice on specific must visit crags or general travel tips, please contribute to my post in the general forum. Any climbing or travelling partners would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to assist any climbers who come to Australia. I've been climbing for 16 years and will have a sport/trad rack with me. I'm an easy going person keen to have some fun. Take care, Brian

A quick update: I'm in Taiwan and will be for the next month. I'm camping out at long dong. If anyone is keen for a climb head on out, I'm available anytime. Just knock on my green tent, my names Brian. If not a climb, feel free to stop by for a cuppa. Take care< bri

I've had some fantastic climbs here It was hard to find partners for weekday climbs, but I got lucky every so often. Update: I fly to Nagoya, Japan tomorrow (6th of July). Anyone in town want to get out climbing? I think I'll visit a climbing gym when I get there to meet climbers for outdoor trips. Otherwise, I'll make my way to Ogawayama and maybe there camping from this weekend on. I hope to meet some friendly climbing folk in Japan. see ya, Bri

@stonethecrows: PM me when you're in South-East Asia. I'm based in Singapore, regularly roadtrip through Malaysia for weekends, and often fly to Thailand. DAvid.

I will be in Southeast Asia in early May. Are you by any chance doing the Dragon's Horns big wall in Malaysia? It's on the south end of Tioman island and it looks pretty damn sick.
