With all the rain we are going to have here over the weekend I've turned my eyes eastward to NC as Sunday's weather looks like it might be ok over there. I'm looking for a place that has some decent 5.2 - 5.5 routes to take true first time climbers out to. Prefer top-ropes, but anything is ok. I've not climbed over there in a long time so was looking at my guidebook. Snake Den has quite a few routes in those grades, but I'm seeing poor reviews of it on this site...is it really not very good? Other suggestions? Coming from the Knoxville area so not really wanting to go any further east than I have to.
