There are two crags near the summit of Hot Spring mtn. You can view on google earth. Crags are on the Indian reservation. The tribe has a campground for a fee. But its a long 8-10 mile hike to the crags. You might get permission to drive up. 40-60 foot crags in a nice forest.

Why not head to el cajon mt. instead, where you could climb 500 to 1000 ft depending on the part of the mountain you go to?
