I lead 5.11 sport, so I can follow somewhere around that grade as well. I don't think I have enough experience to lead higher than a 5.8ish on gear, though. Joe

Hiya, I'm based in Asheville for Sun 20th - Mon 21st June http://www.rockclimbing.com/...d;page=unread#unread I looking for a partner and have 15 years of trad climbing (UK/Alps) under my belt at 5.10a on a good day (according to the conversion charts!). Give me a shout if you want to get out on those days. I not bringing a full rack (travelling v.light from UK) just personal kit. But if there is anything you are desperately short of I can probably pack it. Cheerio, Haydn

I am definitely free on those days, but we may have a slight problem. I'm just in the beginning stages of getting a rack together and by that time I'll have around 3 cams and a nut set (BD 4-13). I have a 60 meter rope and can borrow my sport partner's 60 as well so we'd be good on rope. We would just be short on protection. Joe

Well that's good. Because I am flying hand luggage only I cannot bring ropes etc. A few smaller items are not such an issue though. I can bring another full set of wires. What size are your cams? I can bring a few more to fill in the gaps. You got slings etc.? Enough quickdraws (I know you do some sport)?
