While up on the wall, Dr. Piton has been known to shout solutions to struggling climbers on trade routes who are within earshot. Those who follow his advice are more likely to reach the summit. Those who refuse to heed his suggestions may later find themselves and their gear scattered in defeat at the base of the wall, victims of their own arrogance and stupidity.

There are any number of reasons for failure, some as silly as the climber simply dropping his aiders because he did not know how to properly connect his aiders to his harness. Some of these unsuccessful wall climbers are later found in the cafeteria blaming their partners for their defeat while refusing to acknowledge their own culpability.....They vow to return and try a harder wall - but this time they'll do it solo!

Paradoxically, these few same failed ascensionists will loudly dispense their apparent "gems of wisdom" to any who would listen - "wisdom" gleaned from their own trade route failure! This is a frightening notion. In extreme cases, such peoplemay even attempt to answer questions in technical forums, arenas better left to those with sufficient experience to actually know what they are talking about!

Such people are called BIG WALL THEORISTS.

It is important for you to scrutinize an alleged wall climber's resume before accepting his advice - he could actually be a Big Wall Theorist in disguise. The most likely places you will find Big Wall Theorists are either loitering in parking lots, or else hanging around at the base of the wall. They frequently lurk in cafeterias.

They may give clues to their true identity - Big Wall Theoristsare generally the ones speaking loudest.

Big Wall Theorists are full of clever ideas. They do not know the better way, and what is even worse is that they will not listen to those who DO know the better way.

If you do not know what a clever idea is, or you do not know the difference between a clever idea and the better way, then you should click here to read how a Big Wall Theorist DIED by using clever ideas.

Since Big Wall Theorists are seldom found on the summit, it is there on top where you are most likely to locate a bona fide Wall Doctor with the appropriate credentials.

Dr. Piton has often likened Big Wall Travel to journeying across the desert - Dr. Piton's Saharan Oasis - and indeed there were many historic overland trade routes which criss-crossed the vast wastelands of Africa and Asia and allowed merchants to exchange wealth...

with the indigienous peoples of distant cultures

These natives used very primitive and traditional technology, yet they truly believed that they were savvy in the ways of the world. And while lack of knowledge or experience is not necessarily itself a shortcoming, the greater danger is the stubbornness and pride that causes such people to reject the advice of others who are wiser than them. In their naive assumption that they know full well what they are doing (when in fact they don't), they close their ears to the counsel of the more discerning and erudite. Such people refuse to consider the possibility that there may in fact be a better way. And indeed such people often pay the price for doing so.

Initially these people from faraway lands were overjoyed and excitedwith their purchases for which they had paid unscrupulous traders
inordinate sums of money. The Brooklyn Bridge, for instance, has been sold to and bought by this same type of person many times throughout the course of American history.

And while the buyer was left puzzling over the real value of his new purchase (what in the hail is that thang?)..

the wily trader had disappeared....with the money before the buyer realized the error of his actions.

Genealogists concur that today's Big Wall Theoristscommonly found attempting or discussing modern trade routes actually descended from the nativesfound along the trade routes of yesteryear.

Similarly there is a remarkable similarity to the traders of antiquityand modern-day life insurance salesmen.

No second post?? Dude, PPTP has posted more than most of the freaks on this site combined. If he doesn't get that prize than he gets the award for using more html code to spice up his posts than anyone I've ever seen in a web forum.... reading his posts is like an ADD nightmare.

I believe he was asked to 'vacate the premises' so he no longer posts his infinite bullshit (ahem, I mean wisdom) here at RC.noob.
