Yeah, soapbox can be pretty rough, and I agree that, overall, the left-leaning atheists can dominate things in there. It's not the most intellectual discourse in there, but I like to think that we respect those who can back up their viewpoints. Users with less popular views like reno and pinktricam can take what they dish out; and users like rmsusa can even back up fairly conservative viewpoints rationally and succinctly. Some of these guys have offended and been offended much more than Jody ever was. They realize that, in the end, the internet is not a place to let the butthurt control you.
Oh, and I think that jcrew just lets his ass get handed to him, on account of his antisemitism and racist conspiracy theories that he likes to spout.

I'm pretty sure it's "bum's rush". Bum rush is probably some sort of digestion issue. I read on mountainproject.com that we all just want to tear each other down for grammatical errors here, so I'm trying to live up to that expectation as a gesture of good will.
