Hey all!
I'm looking for a gym climbing partner in the Atlanta area from 8/9-14. I've been climbing for ~7 years but have been out of the activity for 2. I can probably top rope a 5.9 or so and lead a 5.6 or 7. PM me if interested.

What part of Atlanta are you looking to climb? I climb at Stone summit about 4-5 times (or more) a week and am always up for someone to climb with.

i try i try  oh yeah im the gf..lol. (i will note i have really only seen the move but have been meaning to read the book) i come climbing some at stone summit too. mostly weekends and maybe weekdays if im off from work or get out early enough. my schedule is so sporadic.
im a new climber though and i really can only do top rope up to 5.6 and working some 5.7's to 5.8's.

That's pretty awesome. There are a couple good 5.8 routes (like the blue one all the way to left side when you come in) that I'd bet you could probably do without too much trouble. It's definitely one of those things that just naturally comes to you with time. Hope to see you guys out there!

i'm bot sure if i have trired that one yet. i have tried that pink 5.8+ over by the slab all the way over one the left side of the gym. im still working that one. and im climbing the blue one on the slab with no problems but i think thats only a 5.7 we've had be alot upstairs but i have tried a few downstairs. i am still not the strongest but im having fun

Is that the route to the left of that green 5.9+ on the arete? Right next to that sloping wall?

the blue one is on the sloping wall (slab) i can do that no stopping no issue jerry told me its actually a 5.6 then im working the pink one on the wall next to it. its between the green and i think yellow one

Well that's alright. It should be fun tonight. I took it pretty easy yesterday and just did a 5.11 and then a couple boulder problems.
