I'm on my way from Boston to CA for a job, but I have one day in Utah, somewhere within a 3 hour vicinity of Salt Lake City would be good. I've never climbed in Utah, and I really want to get out. I'm primarily a trad climber, but sport is fine as well. I lead trad in the 10s in the Gunks, Yosemite, and Eldo. I'm happy climbing anything, though - just to get out would be awesome. I'm in Logan for a conference, and have been looking for a partner for the afternoon/evening of 8/26. As far as I can tell, there is awesome (mostly sport?) climbing in Logan Canyon, which is ~2 hours from SLC. I've never been here before, and only have shoes and a harness with me. I could probably manage to pick up a guidebook and/or useful beta tonight or tomorrow morning. If you're interested, shoot me an email tonight: ccramer108 at gmail. I climb up to 5.10 sport, have never followed past 5.9 trad, lead a little easier than I follow.
