The two recent accidents of this sort are kind of unnerving. Standard wisdom has always been not to grab for the draw in a fall lest you end up fish-hooked but it never occurred to me that the biner might reach out and grab you. I usually stay pretty loose during a fall and don't tuck my arms or anything but that might have to change...

YIKES! Wow. Best wishes to the injured climber. Thankfully there were supposedly trained folks nearby to assist.
