Posting several trip reports from multipitching on The Black Velvet Wall and Brownstone Wall late this August early Septmeber. Routes discussed are Prince of Darkness, Sour Mash, Dream of Wild Turkeys and The Black Dagger This recent post tells the story of an epic rappel in high winds off Sour Mash. Nice. Yeah, the rap on Sour Mash is a little more adventurous then you would expect. But, I don't remember ever coming up short.
Anyways, although the 6th pitch is the best, the 7th is good as well. You should have kept going.
Unfortunately, I was only in RR for a short trip, so I got to do Sour Mash and Epi, but missed out on routes like PoD and Fiddler.
