Hey all,

I'm headed to El Potrero Chico from California and am interested in hitting spots in southern Texas and up near Austin. Is it tough to come across partners for spots like Reimer's Ranch, Camp Eagle, and Enchanted Rock?

I lead 5.10a trad, 5.11c/d sport and like to put in a lot of mileage on the rock.

Also, are any other spots recommended?

Thanks in advance...

Reimer's will be easy to find partners on a weekend, and the Barton Creek Greenbelt in Austin will be easy to find people any day of the week. Enchanted Rock sees a decent amount of traffic, but I wouldn't go out there expecting to hook up with people. I've done it before with success, but usually I just end up climbing by myself. For Camp Eagle, there won't be anyone out there to hook up with. You could contact Scott, who lives at the camp and puts up most of the routes, via the Camp Eagle website to see if he wants to climb.
