Heard that there was a read route at the bird. Anyone know anything about this

A read route? I'm assuming you meant trad, and yes, there are many, and have been for years. The rock can be fractured, so you have to be very picky about your placements. Most of the routes are PG-R on gear, but there are a few G rated leads scattered around the quarry. Most people don't bother lugging the gear that far in though, since everything has bolts on it. There are even a few bolted cracks!

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I just wanted to learn but I don't want blow anything out ya know. I guess ill take a look at some of the undeveloped stuff thanks

Birdsboro to learn trad? BAD IDEA. The rock quality is very hard to read. There are much better places in PA to learn how to lead trad. If you're worried about "blowing something out", you should be.
I'm not sure what you mean by looking at the "undeveloped stuff", but everything "undeveloped" at Birdsboro is super loose and requires a ton of cleaning. I doubt you're going to find many safe, worthwhile trad climbs leftover in that quarry...
You know, they DO have FREE trad climbing clinics at the New River Rendezvous every year...

Ya I know I looked into it but I have limited time due to work my trips never work out there's always chickies I just live in birdsboro so thats y I asked

Chickies would be a much better choice. There is a lot of easy, protectable trad there.
