* Are you afraid of falling?
* Are you afraid of losing control or getting injured?
* Are you making appropriate risk decisions?
-
Join author of The Rock Warrior's Way, Arno Ilgner, for overcoming this fear.
LIMITED OPPORTUNITY: This is the only time this year to take advantage of this training.
-
This clinic involves falling exercises, in small increments, beginning on toprope, then lead, and finally advanced lead falling scenarios. We won’t progress students to lead falls until they are comfortable with toprope falls.
-
You’ll learn:
• To fall properly and safely
• To give a cushioned belay
• Advanced falls: pendulums, while clipping, while committing, etc
• To distinguish between no- and yes-fall zones
• How to engage no- and yes-fall zones
• How to incorporate falling when assessing risks
• How to focus on what you can control
• To deal with fear of falling
-
